Fresh Cast Announcement: ‘Pass the Anarchist Meal’ Anime Premieres October 2 With More Members Received

The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! has finally unveiled its main promotional video. The debut will coincide with the introduction of six new cast members, a captivating new visual, and a confirmed October 2 release date.

The series Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! is based on the light novel series Akujiki Reijō to Kyōketsu Kōshaku: Sono Mamono, Watashi ga Oishiku Itadakimasu!, penned by Kanata Hoshi. The anime will make its television debut on October 2 at 25:28 a.m. JST (effectively October 3 at 1:28 a.m.) on TBS, and will also air on BS11 on October 3.

The TV anime was initially scheduled for a Spring release before a delay pushed it to October.

Kanna Nakamura and Taito Ban are confirmed to voice the roles of Melphiera Marchalrayd and Aristide of Galbraith, respectively. The series will be directed by Mutsumi Takeda at Asahi Production, with Keiichirō Ōchi handling the series scripts, and Masato Katō serving as the character designer. Takaaki Nakahashi will compose the music.

New cast members have been anonymously added to enhance the show. Idol group AVAM takes on the opening theme song “Sugary Story,” while Shunichi Toki performs the ending theme “Kibō Kōdo.”

Kodansha USA Publishing has been actively engaged in releasing the manga adaptation of the series, illustrated by Chika Mizube.

Melphiera, the daughter of an Earl, is known for her controversial preference for monster-based dishes. When attending a social gathering in hopes of finding someone to marry, she encounters a dangerous monster but is saved by Aristide of Galbraith, known for his ruthless deeds. Through a series of events, Aristide becomes increasingly fond of Melphiera, discovering her hidden passion for honing her culinary skills.

Hoshi initially launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2019. Kodansha published the first volume of the light novel series in April 2021, and the third volume followed in April 2023.

In addition, Mizube began the manga adaptation in 2021 within the Pixiv app “Palcy.” The manga’s 10th compiled volume recently shipped in Japan on April 30.
