Exciting New Addition to the Cast of “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods” Anime
Fans of the upcoming anime adaptation of Enju’s popular light novel series, “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods,” have reason to celebrate. The production team recently unveiled a new cast member who will bring depth and intrigue to the show.
Shinshu Fuji has been cast to voice the character Yamagami. This announcement adds another layer of anticipation for the series, which is set to premiere in 2026.

Shogo Sakata will star in the anime as Minato Kusunoki. The story revolves around Minato, who finds himself in charge of a haunted house in the countryside. Thanks to his extraordinary abilities, he clears out the evil spirits, attracting a unique and peculiar group of gods to his home. Minato spends his days relaxing in the company of these spiritual neighbors, wondering what other adventures await him.
The light novels, published in English by Yen Press, delve into Minato’s peaceful yet extraordinary life. The third volume is set to hit the shelves on November 11, offering readers more insights into this enchanting world.
Enju launched the story on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website in April 2021 and began serialization on the Kakuyomu website in December of the same year. The light novels, illustrated by ox, have been a hit since their first volume was published in November 2021. The tenth volume was released on July 17, continuing the series’ success.
Additionally, Akira Anzai launched a manga adaptation on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in November 2021. The manga’s first compiled book volume was published in August 2022, with the fourth volume following on December 26.
