The upcoming anime adaptation of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run” has generated significant buzz among fans. The global livestream event, which took place recently, unveiled the teaser promotional video, introduced the main cast, and confirmed the 2026 premiere date for the series.

The anime is being directed by Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi, who previously co-directed “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.” Toshiyuki Kato, known for his work on “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean,” serves as the series director. Yasuko Kobayashi is returning to oversee the series scripts, and Daisuke Tsumagari, the animation director from “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind,” is designing the characters. Yugo Kanno is composing the music, and Yoshikazu Iwanami is the sound director.
Netflix will exclusively stream the anime globally, making it accessible to fans worldwide. Viz Media has licensed the manga in English and released the first volume digitally and in print on May 27. The third volume was released on September 23.
