The light novel series, known as “A History of the Romelia: The Count’s Daughter Rallies an Army in the Wake of Mankind’s Victory,” has garnered significant attention. Seven Seas has secured the rights to the manga adaptation of these novels. The story revolves around Romelia, a young woman who, after accompanying her fiancรฉ on a quest to defeat the Demon King, finds herself discarded and sent home with her engagement annulled. Despite the setback, Romelia returns home transformed, having honed her skills in trade, negotiation, finances, and information gathering during her adventures.

The narrative takes a compelling turn as Romelia decides to use her newfound abilities to aid her family’s province and the struggling kingdom. Even with the Demon King defeated, his allies and demons continue to pose threats. Determined to protect her homeland, Romelia sets out to build her own army, leveraging her intelligence and strategic prowess to ensure the kingdom’s safety.

Ryo Ariyama originally launched the light novel series as a web novel on the Shลsetsuka ni Narล website in 2019. It was later published under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko imprint. The series has already surpassed 500,000 copies in circulation and is set to conclude with its sixth volume on November 18.

The manga adaptation, illustrated by Ryล Kamito, began its run on Mag Garden’s Mag Comi platform in January 2022. Seven Seas is slated to release the first volume in January of the following year.

The anticipation for this anime adaptation is palpable, promising an engaging blend of strategy, character development, and fantasy. Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches.
