Hasu no Sora School Idol Club Movie: Cast, Crew, and Premiere Details

The teaser for the 3D anime film “Love Live! Hasu no Sora Jลgakuin School Idol Club Bloom Garden Party” revealed its cast, crew, and premiere date on Sunday. The film is set to hit theaters on May 8.

The film’s director is Gล Kurosaki, known for his work on “Shikizakura,” and the project is being helmed at Sublimation. Fumiaki Maruto, who has worked on “Engage Kiss” and “SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes,” is penning the script. Character designs are being handled by Haruko Iizuka, who has previously worked on “Ensemble Stars!” and “Tamayura.” Kaito Hamakawa is overseeing the CG direction, while Keiichi Nozaki, known for his work on “Ongaku Shลjo” and “L/R: Licensed by Royalty,” is directing the sound. The music is being composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa, with Lantis managing the music production.

The “Hasu no Sora Jลgakuin School Idol Club” group is a key part of the Love Live! franchise and includes members such as Kaho Hinoshita, Sayaka Murano, Kozue Otomune, Tsuzuri Yugiri, Rurino Osawa, and Megumi Fujishima. This group is prominently featured in the “Link! Like! Love Live!” smartphone game, which launched on April 15, 2023. The game allows fans to experience the story alongside the school idols over 365 days and walk the path to graduation with the characters. The group’s first album, “Dream Believers,” debuted on March 29, 2023.

In addition to the smartphone app, the idol club members engage in various media activities, including streaming videos, appearing in magazines, releasing music CDs, and holding concerts. A manga series launched in Shueisha’s “Ultra Jump” magazine in November 2023.

The Love Live! franchise, which began in 2010, has expanded significantly over the years. It has spawned several successful spinoffs, including “Love Live! Sunshine!!,” “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club,” “Love Live! Superstar!!,” and most recently, the “Ikizu Live! Love Live! Bluebird” project.
