Crunchyroll has announced plans to stream the upcoming television adaptation of Shotan’s manga “You are Ms. servant” (Kimi wa Meido-sama.) during the fall 2024 season. The company has unveiled an English-subtitled trailer:

The anime is slated to premiere on TV Asahi’s “NUMAnimation” block in October.

The cast features Toshiki Kumagai as Hitoyoshi Yokoya and Reina Ueda as Yuki / Xue.

Ayumu Watanabe (known for “Children of the Sea,” “Space Brothers,” “Fortune Favors Lady Nikuko”) is directing the anime at FelixFilm. Deko Akao (involved with “Higehiro,” “Komi Can’t Communicate,” “Flying Witch”) oversees the series scripts, Tomoyasu Kurashima (from “Infinite Stratos”) handles character design, and Masahiro Tokuda (known for “Ishura,” “Platinum End”) composes the music.

Shogakukan Asia publishes the manga in English and summarizes the plot:

This is the story of a maid who, after a lifetime of solitude, finally finds a place where she belongs.

From her early days, Yuki was trained strictly as an assassin, knowing only efficiency and obedience. Now, presented with a chance to leave her shadowy past behind, she seeks employment at the doorstep of Hitoyoshi Yokoya… as a maid?! Thus begins the journey of a former assassin as she navigates the nuances of a ‘normal’ life!

Shotan debuted the manga on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry platform in 2020, and the seventh compiled volume was released on January 12.
