Puniru is a Kawaii Slime Expands Cast for Its Engaging Second Season
In an exciting development, the charming web manga series Puniru is a Kawaii Slime has announced four new cast members for its highly anticipated second season. The new voice actors are set to make their debut in the anime’s 10th episode, which is the 22nd episode overall. Fans of the series were thrilled to receive this news on a recent Sunday.
Kikuko Inoue, a renowned voice actress, will be lending her voice to Oka Kirara, the mother of Mami. Hiro Shimono will bring to life Teru Kirara, Mami’s father. Honoka Inoue will voice Maika Kirara, Mami’s younger sister. Aoi Yūki will be portraying Dōru, also known as Doll, who is Kotarō’s classmate from kindergarten.

Aya Tanaka will handle character design, and Izumi Mori will compose the music. The opening theme for the second season is “Brun-Brun,” performed by Yū Sasahara, who voices Puniru. The ending theme will be a cover of Mrs. Green Apple’s “Ao to Natsu” (Blue and Summer).
The original manga, created by Maedakun, was launched in Shogakukan’s “Weekly Coro Coro Comics” online publication in March 2022. The series ranks #4 in the Web Manga category of the Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) from 2022. Shogakukan published the manga’s ninth compiled volume on August 28, 2024.
