Unveiling New Talents in the Upcoming “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods” Anime
The excitement surrounding the television anime adaptation of Enju’s “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods” light novel series continues to build. On a recent Friday, the production team announced three new cast members and released a captivating video to accompany the reveal.

The anime is set to premiere in 2026, and fans are eagerly anticipating the debut. Shugo Sakata will voice the lead character, Minato Kusunoki. Shinshu Fuji will bring the character Yamagami to life.
Yen Press is responsible for publishing the light novels in English. The third volume is scheduled for release on November 11. Yen Press provides an intriguing overview of the story:
Deep in the countryside, Minato Kusunoki finds himself in charge of a house teeming with evil spirits—at least, it was until his extraordinary abilities drove them away! Now, a variety of unique and peculiar gods are drawn to the comfort of the purified Kusunoki residence. Minato spends his days in peaceful relaxation, surrounded by his spiritual neighbors. What other adventures await Minato as he lives harmoniously among the gods?
Enju originally launched the story on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website in April 2021. It began serialization on the Kakuyomu website in December of the same year. Kadokawa published the first volume of the light novels, illustrated by ox, in November 2021. The 10th volume was released on July 17.
Additionally, Akira Anzai started a manga adaptation on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in November 2021. The first compiled book volume of the manga was published in August 2022, with the fourth volume hitting the shelves on December 26.
