Several veteran voices and creators are part of this new venture. Toshiyuki Morikawa returns to voice Hiroshi Nohara, the same character he’s portrayed in the original Crayon Shin-chan series. The anime will be directed by Tsukasa Nishiyama, known for his work on projects like “Mugyutto! Black Clover.” Production is being handled by DLE, with support from Shinei Animation, renowned for their work on the Crayon Shin-chan studio.
The contributing scriptwriters are Hasyashi Mori and Moral, both of whom have experience with notable projects such as “Cells at Work! Code Black,” “Sand Land,” and other Crayon Shin-chan films. Koutarou Yamawaki will manage the character designs, while the music will be composed by Akifumi Tada.
“The Style of Hiroshi Nohara’s Lunch” will focus on the daily life of Hiroshi Nohara, father to the popular character Shin-chan. As a 35-year-old salaryman, Hiroshi’s days are filled with the challenges of work and family, which he manages while making the most out of his limited lunchtime. The story promises a blend of humor and relatable workplace experiences, which are sure to resonate with a wide audience.
This spinoff manga series, originally launched in 2015 by Tsukahara, saw its shifts across various magazines, most recently moving to the Manga Crayon Shin-chan website following the cessation of its former publication in 2023.
Additionally, the latest Crayon Shin-chan film, “Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers,” premiered on August 8th, marking another exciting addition to the Crayon Shin-chan franchise. The animated television series continues strong, and this upcoming anime provides an excellent entry point for fans to dive deeper into the universe of Shin-chan.
