The highly anticipated standalone anime film, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans โ Urรฐr Hunt Special Edition: Path of the Little Challenger, is set to hit North American theaters with English subtitles. The film will be shown on January 12-13 and 15, 2026. This exciting release is a spinoff from the popular television series Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.
In addition to the main feature, the 10th-anniversary short film “Wedge of Interposition” will also be screened as part of “Gundam Premiere Night.” This double feature includes a new 4K remaster of the 1997 film Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition. The original video anime will be presented with an English dub on January 12-13 and English subtitles on January 15.

The spinoff, Kidรธ Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans: Urรฐr-Hunt, was announced in 2019 and debuted within the Kidรธ Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans G app in November 2022. This app combines anime and game elements, bringing together the original series and its spinoff. However, the app ceased operations in January 2024.
The original television series premiered its first season in 2015, followed by the second season in 2016. Various streaming services, including Daisuki, Gundam.info, Hulu, and Crunchyroll, aired the series, with Crunchyroll also providing an English dub. Additionally, Toonami began airing the first season with an English dub in June 2016 and debuted the second season in October 2017.
The spinoff manga, Mobile Suit Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans Gekkรธ, created by Hajime Kamoshida, Dango, and Hirosuke Terama, concluded in Kadokawa’s Gundam Ace magazine in March 2018.
