Here is the newly written blog post:

GKIDS has unveiled an exciting new release date in North America. The Jujutsu Kaisen compilation film will hit screens on December 5, offering both original Japanese and English dubbed versions. Fans can look forward to an immersive viewing experience with the option to enjoy the film in their preferred language.

The compilation movie, titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins in Japan, will feature a captivating blend of content. It will include the second season’s “Shibuya Incident” arc, along with the first two episodes of the upcoming third season. This sneak peek into the third season is set to premiere in January 2026, making this a must-see for devoted fans.

The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen aired in October 2020 and consisted of 24 gripping episodes. Following this, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, an anime film, was released in Japan in December 2021. It made its debut in the U.S. and Canada in March 2022 with both English subtitles and a full English dub, making it accessible to a broader audience.

The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen began its run on July 6, 2023, broadcasting on MBS, TBS, and 28 affiliated channels in Japan. Internationally, the season was streamed by Crunchyroll across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The service also provided an English dub, enhancing accessibility for English-speaking viewers.

The second season aired continuously for a half-year, comprising two cours. It adapted two significant arcs from Gege Akutami’s original manga: “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” and “Shibuya Incident”. The “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc aired from July 6 through August 3, 2023, followed by two compilation episodes on August 10 and 17 of the same year. The “Shibuya Incident” arc followed, running from August 31 to the season’s conclusion, consisting of 18 episodes.

Gege Akutami initially launched the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in a popular magazine. The series has been a hit since March 2018, with Viz Media publishing both digital and print editions. Shueisha has also been making the manga available on its MANGA Plus service, ensuring fans worldwide have access to the latest chapters.
