Exclusive Reveal: Miyu Tomita Joins the Cast of Kamiina Botan Anime
The anime adaptation of the popular manga “Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana” has unveiled a new addition to its cast. The official X/Twitter account for the series announced on Friday that Miyu Tomita will voice the character Yaeka Kitamori. Alongside this exciting news, a character trailer and visual for Yaeka have been released.

The production team is rolling out new cast members every Friday for the next six weeks, keeping fans on the edge of their seats with anticipation.

The anime is set to premiere in April 2026, and fans are eagerly awaiting more details about the series. Sayumi Suzushiro will star as the main character, Botan. The cast also includes Yoshino Aoyama as Ibuki Tomino, Minako Kotobuki as Kanade Gujō, and Yurina Amami as Akane Yusa.
Takashi Sakuma, known for his work on “16bit Sensation: Another Layer” and “Solo Leveling,” is directing the anime at Soigne. Shuntarō Tozawa, who has directed episodes for “Undead Unluck” and “Fire Force,” serves as the assistant director. Kō Yoshinari, renowned for his character designs in “White Album,” is handling the character designs. Yūsuke Matsuo and Miyachi, both key animators on notable projects, are the main animators. Yōko Yonaiyama, who worked on “A Sign of Affection,” is in charge of the series scripts, and Kana Hashiguchi, known for her work on “Magic Maker: How to Make Magic in Another World” and “The tale of outcasts,” is composing the music.
The manga, created by Hey, follows the story of Botan Kamiina, a 20-year-old college student who becomes more outgoing and says unexpected things when she drinks. The manga was launched on Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website in March 2019, with the first compiled book volume released in January 2020. The sixth volume was published on March 18.
