The upcoming television anime series based on the manga “The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer” has unveiled a slew of new cast and staff members, along with the first full promotional video. This video introduces the opening theme song, “Kimi ga Tomoshite Kureta Hikari o Ima,” performed by HoneyWorks featuring Hanon. Additionally, HoneyWorks featuring Kotoha will perform the ending theme song, “Kimi no Tonari Kลซki ga Oishii.”
The newly announced cast members include:
Yuna Ogata as Olive Carmen
Kaori Maeda as Natalie
The series follows the story of Shinonome Hajime, a seasoned adventurer and dungeon delver. When he rescues a young girl named Rirui from a slime monster, he discovers that she has been abandoned by her parents and has nowhere else to go. Unable to leave her to fend for herself, Hajime takes her in and soon realizes that Rirui is far from an ordinary girl.
Previously announced cast members include Riki Fukushima, who is directing the series and overseeing the scripts at the animation studio Hornets. Yoshihiro Nagamori is the main character designer.
The anime is set to debut in January and will be streamed by Crunchyroll.
The manga, originally launched by Nara in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in January 2016, has seen significant success with its 20th compiled book volume published on September 9. It is also available on the Magazine Pocket service.
