The anime series set to premiere in 2026 has unveiled new cast members and a special visual for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The upcoming television anime adaptation of Enju’s light novel series, “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods,” has announced two additional voice actors. On Monday, the production team revealed that Yoshiki Nakajima will voice Fūjin and Daiki Kobayashi will voice Raijin.
The team also shared a “moon viewing” visual to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. This visual adds to the anticipation for the series, which is scheduled to debut next year.
The anime will feature a diverse cast and is based on the light novel series “Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei.” Yen Press is responsible for publishing the light novels in English, with the third volume set to release on November 11. The story follows Minato Kusunoki, who finds himself in charge of a house filled with evil spirits. However, his unique abilities clear the house, attracting a variety of gods who seek comfort in the purified residence. Minato spends his days in the company of these spiritual neighbors, leading to a peaceful yet extraordinary life.
Enju launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2021 and began serialization on the Kakuyomu website in December of the same year. Kadokawa published the first volume of the light novels, illustrated by ox, in November 2021. The 10th volume was released on July 17. Additionally, Akira Anzai started a manga adaptation on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in November 2021. The manga’s first compiled book volume was published in August 2022, with the fourth volume released on December 26.
