The anime is set to debut in 2026, and fans worldwide, excluding Asia but including India and the Indian Subcontinent, can look forward to streaming it on Crunchyroll.

The series is based on the light novel by Suisei, which was first published on the Shลsetsuka ni Narล website in 2013. The manga adaptation, illustrated by La-na, began its run in 2014 and has since garnered a dedicated following. Kairi’s manga adaptation, launched in 2021, continues to captivate readers with its engaging storytelling and charming characters.

The anime adaptation is helmed by a talented team, including chief director Yasutaka Yamamoto, known for his work on “Medalist” and “Servant & Service.” Tomonori Mine, director of “Isekai Onsen Paradise,” is leading the project at Gekkล. Yukie Sugawara, who has worked on “Overlord” and “No Guns Life,” is overseeing the scripts. Mina ลŒsawa, known for her work on “The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest” and “Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits,” is adapting the character designs for animation. The music will be composed by Satoru Kลsaki and MONACA, with Ryล Aizawa serving as the producer at Starry Cube.

The story revolves around Yลki, a man reincarnated into a fantasy world. Unlike typical reincarnation tales, Yลki finds himself not as a hero or demon lord, but as a subordinate of the demon lord. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Cecilia, a priest in the hero’s party, and falls in love at first sight.
