The highly anticipated third season of the popular anime adaptation of One Punch Man is set to premiere on October 5th. The announcement was made on Wednesday, and it revealed that the new season will hit the screens at 11:45 p.m. JST (10:45 a.m. EDT) on several major television networks, including TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, and TV Kyushu.
To mark the occasion, the production team also revealed a brand new visual and a commercial featuring the exciting opening theme “Get No Satisfied!” This high-energy track is performed by JAM Project, with a special collaboration from the renowned metal band BABYMETAL.

In addition to the premiere details, the announcement highlighted several key staff members returning for the third season. Shinpei Nagai, known for his work on Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san and DOGEZA: I Tried Asking While Kowtowing, will direct the anime at J.C. Staff..
Tomohiro Suzuki, who has been involved in the series composition for previous seasons, will continue in this role. Chikashi Kubota will reprise his duties as character designer, this time working alongside Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryousuke Shirakawa. Sakura Murakami takes over as the art director, bringing her background from the second season. Additionally, Mayumi Tanahashi returns as the color designer, while Yuki Hirose steps into the role of director of photography.
The musical score will be handled by returning team members Masahiro Gotoh, Yoshikazu Iwanami, and Makoto Miyazaki, continuing their contributions as editor, sound director, and music composer, respectively.
Fans can look forward to the third season’s ending theme, “Soko ni Aru Akari” (“The Light, That’s There”), performed by Makoto Furukawa. This new song adds to the rich tapestry of music that has accompanied the series from its inception.

The creative team behind the characters, Tomohiro Suzuki and Chikashi Kubota, will once again lead the design effort, with Makoto Miyazaki returning to compose the music.
The returning cast includes Makoto Furukawa as Saitama, Hikaru Midorikawa as Garou, and Daisuke Namikawa as Dr. Genus, adding depth and continuity to the series.
The first season of One Punch Man aired in Japan from October to December 2015. It was streamed outside of Japan by Viz Media and Daisuki as it aired, and later premiered with an English dub on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in July 2016. The first season was also released on home video in North America.
The second season began with a television special in April 2019, followed by the first episode a week later, Viz handled the streaming of the series in North America, Latin America, and Oceania.
The manga series One Punch Man, created by ONE and Yusuke Murata, was launched on Shueisha’s digital platform Tonari no Young Jump in 2012. It is a remake of ONE’s original web manga and has been released digitally and in print by Viz Media in English.
Beyond the anime, there are exciting developments in the live-action adaptation. Sony Pictures, with director Justin Lin at the helm, is preparing to turn the manga into a live-action film. Initial scripts have been rewritten by Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon and screenwriter Heather Anne Campbell, ensuring a fresh and dynamic take on the beloved story.
