Since then, it has inspired multiple television anime series, specials, and annual films, making it a staple in Japanese entertainment. Looking ahead, the 45th 2D anime film in the Doraemon series, “Eiga Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjō,” is set to hit Japanese theaters in 2026. This film is a remake of the classic 1983 movie “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil,” promising a nostalgic yet fresh experience for viewers.

The 44th film in the series, “Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari,” opened in Japan on March 7. This film, titled “Doraemon: Nobita’s Art World Tales,” continues the franchise’s tradition of delivering engaging and imaginative stories.
