The upcoming television anime adaptation of the mystery game The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jiken-bo) has unveiled its promotional video, main visual, cast, theme songs, and premiere date. The anime is set to debut on January 6.
The main promotional video offers a thrilling glimpse into the world of The Case Book of Arne, showcasing the dynamic duo of vampire detective Arne Neuntöte and Lynn Reinweiss, a noblewoman with a fascination for vampires. Together, they tackle gruesome murder cases, blending mystery and supernatural elements.

Singer Sou will perform the opening theme song, titled “Q.E.D.” Meanwhile, singer-songwriter Watashi Kobayashi will handle the ending theme song, “Ningyō no Machi” (Doll Town). The ending song is arranged by Takeaki Wada, who also composed the original game’s theme song.
The anime will premiere on January 6 on NTV and other channels at 25:29 JST (effectively, January 7 at 1:29 a.m. JST). It will then air on BS NTV and AT-X on January 7.
The story of The Case Book of Arne revolves around the unlikely partnership between vampire detective Arne Neuntöte and Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a noble family who has a peculiar love for vampires. Together, they solve bloody murder cases, combining their unique skills and perspectives to unravel mysteries.
The game, created by the production team Harumurasaki, was launched on Game Magazine’s website in November 2017. The game’s manga adaptation, illustrated by Soraho Ina, began serialization in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine in 2018. Kadokawa has published four compiled book volumes of the manga.
The anime is directed by Keisuke Inoue, known for his work on Ao-chan Can’t Study!, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, and Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero. He is working at SILVER LINK, and co-writing the anime with Murasaki, who is also in charge of the game’s scenario and production. Akiko Satō, known for her work on Trigun Stampede, A Condition Called Love, and Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex, is designing the characters and serving as the chief animation director. Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music.
