Episode 630: “Re: MIRU”
In a world plagued by division and global warming, a young diplomat, Toshi, returns home after successfully brokering a peace negotiation. However, the news of the negotiation’s collapse plunges him into despair. Exhausted and wandering the streets, he is saved by an unremarkable, middle-aged man.
Episode 926: “Wait, I’ll Be There”
In a frozen post-apocalyptic world, Airu travels with her companion Pochimaru, using “magic sand” to make flowers bloom. Deep in a mountain of dead trees, they meet Izumif, a boy who claims to be from the distant future.
Yanmar Holdings describes the anime as a journey through time with a robot named MIRU, capable of traveling through various eras and parallel worlds. Unlike typical robots, MIRU is equipped to help people overcome obstacles peacefully, encouraging new beginnings without violence. The robot evolves by interacting with people, learning and growing to assist those in need. By helping others, MIRU sets off a “Butterfly Effect,” guiding society toward a brighter future.
The anime was created and produced by Yanmar Holdings, with Masuo Ueda serving as the executive producer. Production support was provided by Skyfall Co., Ltd., and btrax Japan LLC cooperated in the planning of the anime.
