Wistoria: Wand and Sword, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, and Tower of God Season 2 English Dubs Launch on July 21

Wistoria: Wand and Sword English Dub Premiere Details

Crunchyroll announced on Friday and Saturday that the English dubs for the TV anime adaptations of Fujino Ōmori and Toshi Aoi‘s Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) manga, the second season of the Tower of God anime, and the TV anime of Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda‘s Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest sequel manga will be available starting July 21. The company also unveiled the English dub cast and crew for all three series.

The English dub cast for Wistoria: Wand and Sword includes:

  • Jeremy Inman as voice director
  • Samantha Herek as producer
  • Jessica Sluys handling the adaptation
  • William Dewell as mixer
  • Zachary Davis as engineer

The anime premiered on July 7 and Crunchyroll is streaming it concurrently with its Japanese release.

Tatsuya Yoshihara (action director for Chainsaw Man) is directing the anime at Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. Sayaka Ono (CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon) is the character designer and chief animation director. Raita Sunaga, Yoshirou Harada, and Ryou Akizuki are responsible for monster design. Hiroto Morishita is the sound director at Jinnan Studio, and Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) is composing the music at Lantis.

The English dub cast for the second season of Tower of God includes:

  • Kirstie Simone as voice director
  • Rita Majkut as producer
  • Gavin Harrison handling the adaptation
  • Ernie Sheesley as mixer
  • David Walsh as engineer

The new season debuted on July 7 and Crunchyroll is streaming it across multiple regions including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS territories.

Kazuyoshi Takeuchi (Armored Trooper Votoms: Alone Again) is the chief director for the new season, with Akira Suzuki replacing Takashi Sano as director at The Answer Studio Co., Ltd. instead of Telecom Animation Film. Erika Yoshida (Bocchi the Rock!) is back as the series script supervisor, co-writing with Takeshi Miyamoto and Riuji Yoshizaki. Miho Tanino returns as character designer, joined by Seigo Kitazawa (City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust) and Isamitsu Kashima. Kitazawa is also the chief animation director. Kevin Penkin is back to compose the music.

The English dub cast for Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest includes:

  • Cris George as voice director
  • Zach Bolton as producer
  • Tyler Walker handling the adaptation
  • Andrew Tipps as mixer
  • Jeremy Woods as engineer

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest premiered on July 7 across several TV networks including TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting Co., Ltd.. Crunchyroll is streaming the series simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.

The original Fairy Tail anime’s director, Shinji Ishihara, is the chief director for the new series, while Toshinori Watanabe (Edens Zero, Mix: Meisei Story, Tokyo Ghoul:re) is directing at J.C. Staff. Atsuhiro Tomioka, who wrote scripts for many episodes of the original Fairy Tail series, is supervising the new scripts. Yurika Sako (Edens Zero) is designing the characters. Shōji Hata returns as sound director, with Yasuharu Takanashi also returning to compose the music.
