Yurina Amami Joins the Cast of Kamiina Botan: The Yuri Bloom Anime

Exciting Reveal: Character Trailer and Visual for Akane in Upcoming Anime

The anticipation for the television anime adaptation of the popular manga “Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana” continues to build. Fans were thrilled to learn that Yurina Amami will voice the character Akane Yusa. The official announcement, accompanied by a character trailer and visual, was made on Friday.

The production team is unveiling new cast members every Friday for the next six weeks, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. The anime is set to premiere in April 2026, and the cast is shaping up to be a star-studded lineup.

Sayumi Suzushiro will take on the role of the main character, Botan. Other notable cast members include Yoshino Aoyama as Ibuki Tomino and Minako Kotobuki as Kanade Gujō.

The directing duties fall to Takashi Sakuma, known for his work on “16bit Sensation: Another Layer” and “Solo Leveling.” He will be working at Soigne, with Shuntarō Tozawa serving as the assistant director. Character design is handled by Kou Yoshinari, who previously worked on “White Album.” The main animators are Yūsuke Matsuo and Miyachi, both renowned for their contributions to “Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance” and “Eiga no Osomatsu-san,” respectively.

Yōko Yonaiyama will be in charge of the series scripts, bringing her expertise from “A Sign of Affection.” The music will be composed by Kana Hashiguchi, who has worked on “Magic Maker: How to Make Magic in Another World” and “The tale of outcasts.”

The manga, which the anime is based on, follows the story of Botan Kamiina, a 20-year-old college student who becomes more adventurous and outspoken when she drinks alcohol. The manga was launched on the Manga Cross website in March 2019 and has since gained a dedicated following.
