The latest issue of Kadokawa’s Young Dragon Age magazine revealed that Mikoto Yamaguchi and D.P’s Game of Familia -Family Senki- manga is approaching its grand finale. The announcement featured the phrase “Last Chapter” prominently displayed, signaling the beginning of the climactic storyline in the upcoming release.
Yen Press, which handles the English publication, describes the current phase of the story:
A desperate battle unfolds against the continent’s most formidable sorcerer! With the fate of Lyknell hanging by a thread, the Hatsushima family faces their ultimate challenge. Ordo Seeka’s sinister scheme has reached its climax, merging Sasae and Miracaba into a terrifying entity threatening the capital. Though Sasae may be lost, Hinana stands ready to honor his legacy. Originally debuting in May 2018 through Young Dragon Age magazine with artwork by D.P, the series has reached its 15th Japanese volume as of August. English readers received the seventh volume in late August through Yen Press’s publication.
In related news, Yamaguchi has teamed with artist Yลซhei Ogino for Tensei Kaku Gamer Oji demo Kateru Isekai Kลryaku (Reincarnated Fighting Gamer), a new manga currently running on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump platform.
Meanwhile, D.P continues their Karate Master Isekai (Karate Baka Isekai) series on the Nico Nico Seiga platform, a story adapted from Eito Terry’s web novel that initially ran from late 2017 to early 2018. Kadokawa published the illustrated print editions in early 2019.
