The gaming skies brighten as Phoenixx unveils Sanbondo’s Fantasy Maiden Wars – DREAM OF THE STRAY DREAMER – (Gensо̄ Shо̄jo Taisen -Dream of the Stray Dreamer-), a fan-crafted Touhou Project odyssey, set to land on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam worldwide in 2025.

Gensokyo’s destiny balances on two heroines: the spell-slinging Marisa and shrine guardian Reimu. When uncanny disturbances ripple through the land, strategic positioning meets magical firepower in chess-like warfare. Track down the root of these anomalies while orchestrating dazzling melee assaults and screen-filling bullet barrages that dance on the edge of chaos.
Command a mystical militia of 70+ characters, each wielding unique Spell Cards that bend battle to your will.
The game first materialized on Japanese Switch consoles in 2022.
Sanbando’s Gensō Shōjo Taisen franchise – a tactical alchemy of bullet storms and RPG strategy inspired by Super Robot Wars – unfolded across four PC chapters between 2010 and 2017. The complete compendium emerged in August 2019.
