Uoyama Launches New Manga ‘Love’s in Sight!’ on July 25 – Don’t Miss the Release!

Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine cracked open its July 11 issue like a treasure chest, revealing artist Uoyama’s new creation Kimi to Issho ni Kayoitai (I Want to Go to School With You). This emotional voyage launches with a splash—literally—as the July 25 issue will feature a color opening page.

The story promises to be a storm in a teacup—a deceptively simple tale of fierce loyalty wrapped in quiet moments. At its heart? Someone who’ll move mountains for a single wish.

This marks Uoyama’s next creative chapter after Kogure Kyōdai no Tomurai Kissa, their sibling cafe manga that served its final course in Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch on January 10, 2025. The story’s third volume landed on shelves May 9 like a perfect dessert.

Longtime fans will recognize Uoyama’s signature warmth from Love’s in Sight!, which began its journey across pixiv and Nico Nico Seiga in June 2018 before concluding in February 2022. Kodansha packaged the complete story in eight volumes, with Viz Media delivering the English finale in September 2024.
