Shueisha is polishing the silver finale for Yoshiyuki Nishi‘s Lycanthrope Bōken Hoken (Lycanthrope Adventure Insurance), with its fourth volume emerging from the shadows on September 19. A seven-year slumber separates this release from its predecessor, which last howled onto shelves in March 2018.
Update: Nishi revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that this volume will mark the series’ final chapter.

The manga prowls through a realm where steel and sorcery collide, following the elusive Lycanthrope Adventure Insurance—a guild offering perilous quests a safety net. Nishi first unleashed the story in Shueisha‘s Young Jump magazine in October 2016, before it migrated to Tonari no Young Jump in September 2017.
Fans of Nishi’s work may recall Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation, which Viz Media brought to English shores with all 18 volumes intact. The series later sprouted fangs as an anime in August 2018, with Crunchyroll broadcasting its adventures. A second season padded in during 2020.
