Discover New Cast Members and Ending Theme for Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Anime

In a thrilling announcement, Netflix unveiled a sneak peek of the highly anticipated third season of “Record of Ragnarok.” The English-subtitled trailer, showcased during the Anime NYC event, offered fans a glimpse into the next chapter of the epic battles between gods and humans.

The third season, titled “Record of Ragnarok Season 3,” will continue the legacy of the original manga created by Shinya Umemura, Azychika, and Takumi Fukui. The new trailer introduced additional cast members and gave a preview of the season’s end theme, “Last Breath, Last Record,” performed by Saori Hayami. Hayami herself penned the lyrics, reflecting the intricate worldview of the anime.

For those eager to dive into the action, the new season will hit Netflix this December 2025, continuing the saga of survival and intense combat. The narrative continues to explore thrilling one-on-one battles that determine the fate of humanity. The seventh battle, which will break the 3-3 tie between the gods and humans, is set to be a pivotal moment in the series. Fans can expect high-stakes conflicts and a spectacular display of strong convictions.

This season will see a new production team at the helm. Directed by Kōichi Hatsumi, known for “Tokyo Revengers” and “Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown,” the animation will be handled by Yumeta Company and Maru Animation, with previous seasons animated by Yumeta Company and Graphinica. Yasuyuki Mutō will serve as the main writer, while Yōko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima will take on character designing roles. Yasuharu Takanashi will return to compose the soundtrack, maintaining the series’ dynamic musical style.

The previous seasons of “Record of Ragnarok” have already carved out a significant fan base. The first season debuted on Netflix in June 2021, followed by the second season in January and July 2023. “Record of Ragnarok II,” the anime’s second installment, further added to the series’ legacy.

The manga, along with its spinoffs, continues to garner significant attention. Launched in Comic Zenon magazine in November 2017, the story has spawned several side stories, including “Shūmatsu no Walküre Kitan: Jack the Ripper no Jikenbo” and “Ryo Fu Hō Sen Hishōden.” Additionally, “The Day of Judgment,” a battle role-playing game for smartphones, hit the market earlier this year on March 31.

Netflix’s upcoming season promises to deliver fresh energy and intense action, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. The extension of the story is set to captivate both old and new fans, providing exciting developments and unforgettable moments.

The world of “Record of Ragnarok” continues to expand, with new dimensions revealed in each episode. As the third season approaches, anticipation builds for the ultimate showdown between gods and humanity.
