Detective Conan Movies to Stream Exclusively on YouTube in Upcoming Weeks

Experience the Mastery of Detective Conan on YouTube: Three Exciting Films Streaming This Month

Get ready for a thrilling series of movies from the beloved Detective Conan franchise, as announced by TMS Entertainment on their Bluesky account. The “Cinema Saturdays” campaign will bring three jaw-dropping movies to the forefront, each streaming on a Saturday at 10:00 p.m. EDT on the “Anime! on TMS” YouTube channel. Let’s dive into what awaits us!

The initiative follows an impressive run of recently streamed films, including:

– **Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser**
– **Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno**
– **Detective Conan: Dimensional Sniper**
– **Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet**

This summer, fans have already enjoyed a specially curated collection of episodes from the Detective Conan anime, known as Case Closed, on Crunchyroll and Netflix. These episodes stream in Japanese with a fresh English dub, providing North American viewers an exciting opportunity to experience the series in a new light. The debut selection, titled “Conan vs. The Black Organization,” includes episodes featuring the iconic antagonists and some previously inaccessible in the U.S.

TMS Entertainment also made waves at this year’s Anime Expo with the U.S. premiere of Detective Conan: The Black Iron Submarine, the franchise’s 26th feature film. This milestone was celebrated on July 5, showing the enduring impact and popularity of the series.

Goshō Aoyama, the creative genius behind the franchise, debuted the manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shounen Sunday in 1994. Since then, the manga has grown into an expansive narrative featuring a television anime series, launched in January 1996, and an ongoing movie series. Viz Media has successfully published the original manga under the name Case Closed, bringing the rich detective storylines to English-speaking audiences while retaining the original names or their Funimation dub equivalents where applicable.

In this gripping tale, fans follow Conan Edogawa (alias Shinichi Kudo), who became miniaturized after being poisoned, alongside detective Kogoro Mori and his daughter Ran. Together, they unravel complex crimes, offering a captivating blend of mystery and adventure.

Lastly, Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, the franchise’s 28th addition, soared to the top in the Japanese box office rankings following its April 18 debut, showing no signs of the franchise’s waning popularity.
