Unveiling the Musical Heroes: SI-VIS and Their Anime Journey
The stage is set for an exhilarating adventure with the upcoming original television anime series, SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes. This highly anticipated project from Aniplex and Sony Music has revealed exciting details about its opening and ending theme songs, as well as its broadcast plans.
The in-story unit SI-VIS will be taking the lead in performing both the opening theme song, “So Far Away,” and the ending theme song, “Friends & Smile,” for the first half of the series. The talented Takui Nakajima is the mastermind behind the lyrics and music for these captivating tracks. Additionally, Taisho will be lending his vocals to the songs for YOSUKE, the leader of SI-VIS. The “Yosuke Main Vocal ver.” of the anime’s insert song, “Braver Dreamer,” made its debut at a recent event and will be available on music streaming services starting at midnight.

The narrative of SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes revolves around the members of the SI-VIS co-ed vocal unit, who are immensely popular both in Japan and internationally. However, their true identity is that of a group of heroes fighting against a mysterious calamity known as “Mirage,” which threatens to destroy the world. Through their live performances, they gather the power necessary to combat this impending doom.
The series will feature a stellar cast and crew. Fumiaki Maruto, known for his work on Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, will be overseeing and writing the series scripts. Hidari, renowned for his character designs in Santa Company, Fractale, and Phantom in the Twilight, will be the original character designer.
Daisuke Yoshida, who has directed notable series such as Idol Incidents and Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga, will be at the helm of the anime at Studio VOLN. Naho Otsuki and Nami Fujii, both key animators for acclaimed series like Lycoris Recoil, Back Arrow, and My Hero Academia, will be designing the characters for animation. Shลซhei Mutsuki, known for his work on SpyรFamily, will be composing the music.
Sony Music has meticulously selected the vocal artists who will provide the singing voices for the characters, and these artists will be revealed leading up to the anime’s premiere.
The series is set to debut on Fuji TV and other channels on October 5 at 9:30 a.m. JST (October 6 at 8:30 p.m. EDT). The anime will also be available for streaming on various services in Japan starting on October 7. Additionally, Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide, excluding Asia.
