Anime Solo Camping for Two Unveils New Opening Theme in Latest Promo

The latest promotional video for the anime adaptation of Yudai Debata’s “Solo Camping for Two” has been released, revealing exciting updates for the show’s second part. The video introduces the new opening theme song, “Futari de Iyล ka” (“Shall we Be Together”), performed by HOKUTO. This new track will set the tone for the upcoming episodes, which are scheduled to debut on October 2.

The anime, which first aired on Tokyo MX on July 10, has since been broadcast on BS Asahi and Nagasaki Culture Telecasting Corporation on July 11, and Yomiuri TV on July 15. Fans can enjoy the series as it airs through Crunchyroll.

The anime features a talented cast and crew. Jun Hatori, known for his work on “Taisho Otome Fairy Tale” and “Too Cute Crisis,” is directing the series at Synergy SP. Aya Satsuki, who has contributed to “A Girl & Her Guard Dog” and “Too Cute Crisis,” is overseeing the series scripts, co-writing them with Mitsuho Seta and ลŒka Tanisaki, who previously worked on “Demon Lord, Retry!”. Tomomi Shimazaki, recognized for her character designs in “Elegant Yokai Apartment Life” and “Mr. Villain’s Day Off,” is responsible for the character designs in this anime.

The background art is directed by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, with Haruko Seto serving as the color key artist. Hiroki Tsubouchi is the compositing director of photography, while Taiki Yamaki is directing the sound. The music is composed by Shลta Kowashi, who has previously worked on “Pui Pui Molcar,” “Snack Basue,” and “Under Ninja.”

The first opening theme song, “Akari wa Tลku” (The Light is Far Away), was performed by Skirt, and the ending theme song, “Futari Camp feat. SPECIAL OTHERS,” is performed by Masayoshi ลŒishi.

The manga, which the anime is based on, follows Gen Kinokura, a 34-year-old solo camper who enjoys his solitude. He meets Shizuku Kusano, a 20-year-old novice camper, and the two end up “solo camping” together. The manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Morning magazine, with 3 million copies of its 19 volumes published so far. The series has also inspired a live-action adaptation that premiered on January 9.
