The official website for the My Hero Academia anime shared an exciting update on Saturday. The renowned band BUMP OF CHICKEN will be performing the ending theme song for the anime’s eighth and final season. The band has composed a new song titled “I” specifically for this occasion. Additionally, two new videos have been released, providing a sneak peek into both the opening and ending themes.

The much-anticipated eighth season will premiere on October 4 at 5:30 p.m. JST (4:30 a.m. EDT) on YTV and NTV’s affiliate channels. Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide, excluding Asia, as it airs in Japan.
