Exciting News: Yūichirō Umehara Joins the Cast of “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods”
Fans of the enchanting light novel series “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods” are in for a treat. The upcoming television anime adaptation has revealed a significant addition to its cast. Yūichirō Umehara will voice Saiga Harima, a modern-day exorcist known for his level-headedness and honesty.
This revelation was made on Friday, and it has certainly stirred excitement among fans. The anime is set to premiere in 2026 and boasts an impressive cast. Yen Press, the publisher of the light novels in English, will release the third volume on November 11. The story, as described by Yen Press, follows Minato Kusunoki, who finds himself in charge of a house filled with evil spirits. However, his extraordinary abilities clear them out, attracting unique and peculiar gods to his residence. Minato spends his days in the company of these spiritual neighbors, leading a peaceful life surrounded by gods.

The story of “Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods” was launched on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2021 and began serialization on the Kakuyomu website in December of the same year. The light novels, illustrated by ox, have been published by Kadokawa since November 2021. The 10th volume was released on July 17. Additionally, a manga adaptation by Akira Anzai started on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in November 2021. The first compiled book volume was published in August 2022, with the fourth volume released on December 26.
