English Voice Cast for Wedding Rings Season 2 Announced

The highly anticipated second season of the English dub for the anime adaptation of Maybe’s manga “Tales of Wedding Rings” has finally hit the screens. The new season began streaming on Crunchyroll on October 18, bringing back beloved characters and introducing new voices to the mix.

The English dub cast features a mix of returning members and fresh talent. While the specific names of the cast and crew have not been disclosed, fans can expect the same high-quality performances that made the first season a hit. The second season’s “uncensored version” premiered on October 4 on the AT-X channel in Japan and started streaming on ABEMA and U-NEXT on October 11.

The main staff behind the anime have returned for the second season, ensuring continuity in the series’ direction and style. Takashi Naoya, known for his work on “Real Girl,” is directing the anime at Staple Entertainment. Deko Akao, who previously worked on “After the Rain,” is in charge of the series scripts, and Saori Nakashiki, who designed characters for “The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!,” returns to handle character design.

New additions to the cast include Miyu Tomita, who joins as Morion. Sizuk returns to perform the opening theme song “Daybreak,” while Akari Kitō, the voice actor for Hime, performs the ending theme song “any if.”

The first season of “Tales of Wedding Rings” premiered in January 2024, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime as it aired in Japan. The series follows the story of Satou, who follows his best friend Hime to another world and ends up married to her, destined to become the Ring King and save the world from the Abyssal King.

The manga, published by Yen Press in English, concluded its run in August 2024, with the 15th and final compiled book volume released in September 2024. Yen Press will release the 15th volume on October 28. The manga was initially launched in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine in March 2014.

The anime is also available on various streaming services in Japan, including ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai. Fans can look forward to more exciting episodes as the second season unfolds.
