Zeniko Sumiya revealed on their X/Twitter account on Friday that their Ripples in the River (Kawa ni Sazanami) manga will end in the sixth volume, which will ship on December 15.
Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:
Tanba and Utagawa have been together for over ten years, but Uta still can’t believe he’s landed such a stud, and Tanba still gets blindsided when his young-at-heart boyfriend switches into adult mode. It’s a non-stop whirlwind of love that sends both their hearts skipping!
Seven Seas Entertainment released the first volume on October 21, and will release the second volume on February 10.
Sumiya first published the manga on pixiv. Frontier Works‘ Hug Pixiv label started publishing the manga in 2022, and Frontier Works published the fifth volume in October 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment is also releasing Sumiya’s 5 Seconds Before a Witch Falls in Love manga in English. Animate International is releasing Sumiya’s Breathless Momentum, Loveless Momentum, Sasori to Otome: Scorpio & Virgo, and This Can’t Be First Love manga in English.
