The manga, which serves as the foundation for the anime, follows the misadventures of Aijo Rentaro. Despite his numerous failed attempts to secure a date, Rentaro finds himself in a bizarre situation where a god intervenes, granting him the chance to go on dates with 100 girls. However, there’s a catch: each of these girls is destined to be his soulmate, and if he doesn’t reciprocate their feelings, they face dire consequences. The story is a wild and hilarious take on the classic harem genre, blending romance and comedy in a unique way.
The upcoming season will feature the return of the main cast and staff, ensuring continuity and familiarity for longtime fans. Yรปji Ueda will once again lend his voice as the narrator, while Hikaru Sato will direct the season at Bibury Animation Studio. Takashi Aoshima will handle the series scripts, and Akane Yano will continue her work on character design. The musical score will be composed by Shรปhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa, and eba at Lantis.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2023 and was streamed with subtitles by Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan. The streaming service also provided an English dub, making the series accessible to a global audience. The second season kicked off on January 12, 2025, on Tokyo MX and other channels, with Crunchyroll continuing to stream it with subtitles.
