Fans thrilled to learn that Tomohisa Shimoyama (known for his roles in Yurei Deco and Super Shiro) will helm the project at the renowned studio Science SARU. Vendors across the entertainment sphere eagerly anticipate Kimiko Ueno to develop the series script followed closely by Masamichi Ishiyama’s signature character design. The premiere composer, Tomoyuki Tanaka, is set to deliver the soundtrack.
The SANDA manga itself is an engrossing tale. Imagine a Japan where Christmas is a distant memory. The nation allows children to experience an extended youth, transforming the once-beloved holiday into folklore. Middle-school student Sanda Kazushige’s life takes a dramatic turn when a companion accuses him of harboring the ability to locate a missing friend. The search for eternal magic becomes entangled in the youthful duo’s quest for friendship and trust.
Consumers should get excited. This September, Titan Manga will release the translated SANDA manga, unveiling the eccentric adventures of our protagonists in a parallel world stripped of today’s traditions. Paru Itagaki also brings us BEASTARS. She launched the original SANDA manga within the Weekly Shonen Champion and concluded its chapters this past year. It’s available in its final volume, ready for fans to indulge in the suspense of adolescent curiosity.
