In an exciting development for fans of fantasy anime, Kadokawa has announced that Yuji Iwahara’s popular manga, Clevatess – The King of Magical Beasts, the Baby, and the Corpse Hero, is getting a second season. The new series, titled Clevatess II – The King of Magical Beasts and the Legend of the False Hero, will continue the thrilling adventures of the original cast.

The first season of Clevatess concluded with its 12th episode on Wednesday, leaving viewers eager for more. Yuji Iwahara, known for his work on Darker Than Black and King of Thorn, launched the manga on the LINE Manga app in August 2020. The first compiled book volume was published physically on the same day, with the 10th volume released digitally on July 2. Kadokawa began serializing the manga on its Comic Alive+ website in April 2024 and is publishing a new edition of the compiled book volumes, with the 10th volume set to ship on September 26.
