Nobuhiko Okamoto as Soji Enishiro
The manga, set in a world where ghosts dwell in digital spaces, follows 15-year-old streamer Sōji Enishiro, who goes by the alias “Aoringo.” He creates provocative content online to fund his sister’s medical treatment. After encountering a ghost in the virtual world, he gains spiritual abilities and joins Miden Academy—a school for exorcists specializing in digital hauntings. The series is unrelated to Watanabe and Okushō’s earlier work, Real Account.
Watanabe launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2023 before its move to Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app in October 2023. The 11th volume was released on June 17.
Kodansha’s K MANGA service publishes the English digital version.
Previously, Watanabe and Okushō collaborated on Real Account, which serialized in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from 2014 to 2019. Kodansha USA released the English edition, alongside a novel adaptation by Ren Kanan.
A live-action film adaptation of Real Account was announced in 2018 but was canceled in March 2025 due to production issues.
