The official website for Delico’s Nursery anime, based on Kenichi Suemitsu‘s TRUMP 2009 stage play, announces delay from July to August due to production issues.
The anime will premiere in August on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and MBS.
Hiroshi Nishikiori (A Certain Magical Index, Azumanga Daioh) directs at J.C. Staff. Suemitsu handles scripts and series composition. Yōko Itō (Amanchu!, Golden Time) designs characters based on original designs by Kо̄ya. Shunsuke Wada (Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Naruto stage plays) composes music.
The gothic fantasy follows Dali Delico, head of a prestigious aristocratic family, in a world of vampires raised as nobles. The original vampire TRUMP is believed to have eternal life.
Originally a stage play in 2009, TRUMP has since inspired manga, including Suemitsu’s TRUMP manga serialized in Kadokawa‘s Young Ace magazine in November 2020.
