The much-anticipated television light anime adaptation of Yoroida’s manga #Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf has officially launched its website, unveiling the key visual, main cast, production team, and the first teaser video.

The voice cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi, who will bring to life the protagonist Elf from Yokohama, and Yuu Hayashi, who will voice the Human from Kawasaki. Both voice actors are from Kanagawa Prefecture, adding an authentic touch to their roles.
The production team is led by director Yรปji Umoto, known for his work on SHIBUYA HACHI and Hachimitsu Suicide Machine. The anime is being produced by IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio. Taeko Miura will handle sound production, while Shin Kawamoto is composing the music. Kazuya Takahashi serves as the production supervisor, and Usagiou is providing animation production assistance.
The series is set to premiere in December on TV Kanagawa’s local midday news and variety program, Neko no Hitai Hodo Wide. This fantasy comedy manga follows the story of elves whose forest home was destroyed and are now living ordinary lives in Kanagawa.
Yoroida launched the manga on Comic Elmo in August 2020. The first compiled book volume was published in 2021, with the fifth volume released on March 10. Additionally, a live-action adaptation of the manga is set to debut on September 30, also within the Neko no Hitai Hodo Wide program.
