Rooster Fighter Anime Unveils English Dub Trailer and Voice Cast
The excitement surrounding the upcoming anime adaptation of Shu Sakuratani’s popular manga, Rooster Fighter, has reached new heights with the release of an English dub trailer. Viz Media, the company behind the project, premiered the trailer on Friday, offering fans a sneak peek into what’s to come.
The trailer, which debuted at Viz Media’s panel during New York Comic Con, showcases the world premiere of the English dub, featuring a talented voice cast that promises to bring the characters to life in a fresh and engaging way.

The anime is set to make its television debut in spring 2026, and fans are eagerly anticipating the release. The story revolves around Keiji, a rooster with extraordinary abilities who stands as humanity’s greatest defender. Despite facing opponents that tower over him, Keiji’s unyielding spirit and powerful battle cry, “Kokekokko,” make him an unstoppable force.
Daisuke Suzuki, known for his work on D4DJ All Mix, is directing the anime at SANZIGEN. Hiroshi Seko, renowned for his scripts in Jujutsu Kaisen and Mob Psycho 100, is handling the series scripts. The production team includes Joseph Chou, who previously worked on Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya, and Sola Entertainment.
Viz Media will oversee the worldwide streaming, television broadcast, electronic sell-through (EST), home video, and merchandising outside of Japan. In Japan, Hero’s Inc. will manage EST, home video, and merchandising. The anime will air on Adult Swim, with additional streaming partners to be announced later.
Shu Sakuratani’s manga, which inspired the anime, debuted on the Comiplex manga website in December 2020. The 10th compiled book volume was published on July 4, and Viz Media has licensed the manga, releasing the eighth volume in English on August 19.
