The ‘Give It All’ anime film is set to premiere on October 25th.

The title “Give It All” originates from a cheer used at the alma mater of author Yoshiko Shikimura in Ehime Prefecture, motivating students to give their best efforts. This phrase resonates during pivotal scenes of rowing in the film.

Directed by Yūhei Sakuragi (The Relative Worlds, Ingress) and scripted by Keiichirō Ōchi (Aikatsu!, The Quintessential Quintuplets), with character designs by Asako Nishida (Love Live! School idol project, Land of the Lustrous), the animation is produced by Studio Moe and REIRS. Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture collaborates on the production, distributed by Shochiku.

The film adapts the novel’s story centered around a girls’ high school rowing club in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture.

Awarded the prestigious “Bocchan Literary Prize” in 1995, the novel previously inspired a live-action film in 1998 and a television series in 2005.
