New characters and the opening theme of the “Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love” anime have been introduced. The show, based on the manga “Debu to Love to Ayamachi to!” by mamakari, will begin airing on Tokyo MX and Sun TV in early October.

The website for the anime debuted the key visual, second promotional video, and new voice cast members on Thursday. The promotional video unofficially introduced “Happy Yummy Lucky Yummy,” performed by GANG PARADE, as the anime’s opening theme.

The voice cast also includes Aya Endō as Yumeko Kōda and Yūma Uchida as Keisuke Yūki; among many others.

October 6 is the date that Premiering on Tokyo MX at 11:00 p.m. JST and on Sun TV at 11:30 JST is when the anime will debut.

عودةى to Love toAyamachi to! is the inspiration for the television anime. Kazuomi Koga, the creator of Rent-A-Girlfriend, is directing the anime. Koga heads up a team of comedy specialists at the studio Marvy Jack. She wrote the narrative and served as the series’ main author. The movie’s key visuals are being created by cartoonist and character designer Atsuko Takahashi. Takahashi is joined by animation directors Kyoko Kametani (Fruits Basket) and Izumi Yamanaka (Dog Signal). The music is created by Satoshi Hōno (Aggretsuko) and Karin Nakano (Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest).
