The new season kicked off on July 5 at 24:00 JST, also effectively June 6 at midnight, across Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, and Gunma TV. Crunchyroll is the streamed source for this anime.

The manga has a rich history, with an initial TV adaptation that aired in January 2022, consisting of 12 episodes. The series was available on Funimation as it aired in Japan, Simulcast provided both the Japanese and English-dubbed versions. Crunchyroll has been consistent in providing access to both versions.

Beyond anime, the manga sparked a live-action series, premiering in October 2024 in Japan. The story chronicles Wakana Gojou, traumatized by an incident in his childhood, secludes himself. Yet, he finds comfort in home economics and crafting traditional dolls. Wakana encounters Marin Kitagawa, a trendy girl who spots him sewing one day and involves him in her secret passion: cosplay.

The manga underwent serialization in Square Enix’s Young Gangan in January 2018 and transitioned to monthly chapters in September 2023 for its “Tenmei” arc. While the original series concluded on March 21, additional bonus and epilogue chapters are planned. Characters Asahi Ogata and Miyako Honda will undoubtedly add depth and excitement to “My Dress-Up Darling” as the new season unfolds.
