"Champignon Witch Anime Reveals New Cast Members and Theme Song Artists"

New Cast Members and Theme Song Artists Unveiled for the Champignon Witch Anime

The enchanting world of Champignon Witch is expanding with the recent unveiling of new cast members and theme song artists for its upcoming anime adaptation. The excitement is palpable as fans eagerly anticipate the series, set to premiere in January on TBS and other channels.

The new additions to the voice cast include Jun Fukushima as Claude, Emiri Katō as Minos, Miho Okasaki as Merino, and Misato Fukuen as Sisi. These talented actors will bring depth and charm to their respective characters, enriching the narrative and engaging audiences.

The opening theme song, “Maho Tsukai no Nikki” (Magician’s Diary), will be performed by the talented singer ROSU, while the ending theme, “Kimi wa” (You Are), will be brought to life by Ms.OOJA. Both songs are expected to complement the series beautifully, adding layers of emotion and intrigue.

The anime will star Haruka Shiraishi as Luna and Yuki Sakakihara as Lize, with Yūsuke Kubo at the helm as director. Kubo, known for his work on Dahlia in Bloom and Maarui Kanojo to Zannen na Kareshi, brings a wealth of experience to the project. Yūko Kakihara, celebrated for her contributions to Blue Box, Buddy Daddies, and School Babysitters, will handle the series scripts. Character designs are in the capable hands of Miki Matsumoto, renowned for her work on Angels of Death and Summer Time Rendering.

Animation production is being overseen by Typhoon Graphics and Qzil.la, ensuring high-quality visuals that will captivate viewers. The series promises to be a visual and narrative feast, blending enchanting storytelling with stunning animation.

The manga, originally launched by Higuchi on Hakusensha’s Manga Park app in October 2019, has garnered significant attention. The sixth compiled book volume was published in December 2024, further fueling the anticipation for the anime adaptation.

Higuchi’s previous work, Gakuen Alice, inspired a 26-episode television anime series in 2004-2005. The series was released on DVD in North America by Right Stuf, showcasing the enduring appeal of Higuchi’s storytelling.

The upcoming anime adaptation of Champignon Witch is poised to be a standout in the anime landscape, with a talented cast, compelling theme songs, and a dedicated production team. Fans can look forward to an immersive and magical experience when the series premieres in January.
