The highly anticipated television anime adaptation of Shichio Kuzu’s and Yumehito Ueda’s novel series, “Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?!” (Mushoku no Eiyลซ: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan da ga), has unveiled a new promotional video, visual, and two additional cast members for the City of Magic arc. The anime is directed by Kaoru Yabana, known for his work on “The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human” and “I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills.” The series is being produced at Studio A-Cat. The story of “Hero Without a Class” revolves around Arel, the son of Sword Princess Farah and Archmage Leon, who discovers he has no class or skills at the age of ten. Despite this setback, Arel’s determination and hard work lead him to become a unique type of hero, relying on his wits and cunning to overcome challenges.
The novel series debuted on the Shลsetsuka ni Narล (Let’s Be Novelists) website in November 2017. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the novels in July 2018, with the fourth volume released in June 2019. Akio Nanae launched a manga adaptation in Comic Earth Star in November 2018, and the 10th compiled book volume was released on October 10. One Peace Books is releasing the manga adaptation in English, providing a broader audience with access to this compelling narrative.
