Kodansha USA Publishing is the entity behind the English release of the manga, offering fans a chance to immerse themselves in the story of Rudo, a young man wrongfully accused of murder and sentenced to exile. This exile leads him to a world filled with monstrous creatures, where he must tap into newfound powers to survive and seek vengeance. The manga delves into a captivating world where the rich cast their garbage into an abyss, breeding vicious monsters, and those cast off must battle these beasts to survive.
The Gachiakuta anime is helmed by a talented crew:
Fumihiko Suganuma, known for his work on high-profile projects, is directing the anime at the esteemed studio BONES. Hegelistic and legendary Hiroshi Seko is at the helm of the series scripts. The animated characters have been brought to life through the creative genius of Satoshi Ishino. The music composition boasts the talents of Taku Iwasaki, whose contributions have understandably raised expectations for the series’ soundtrack.
The anime made its debut in Japan on July 6th, airing on multiple channels, including CBC and TBS. Cricketstroll has been given the opportunity to stream the series online, beginning on the same day, in a multitude of territories including North America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS (excluding Russia and Belarus), and the Indian subcontinent. Furthermore, an English dub version of the series will also be available, ensuring that a global audience can enjoy the anime in their preferred language.
The original manga by Kei Urana was launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2022, with Hideyoshi Ando contributing the graffiti design. The manga’s 15th compiled volume was released on June 17, keeping the storyline engaging and the readers hooked.
