The trailer, which includes both English dub and Japanese audio with English subtitles, offers a sneak peek into the intense battles and dramatic moments that await viewers.

The trailer introduces several exciting updates, including the announcement of the anime’s opening theme song, “Dead or Alive,” performed by the renowned band GLAY. Additionally, it reveals that Shun Horie will voice the character Nostradamus in the upcoming season. The anime is set to premiere on Netflix on December 10, adding to the anticipation among fans.

New Cast and Staff

The new season will feature a fresh lineup of cast members and staff. Previously announced new cast members include Shiori Mikami as Alvitr, Misako Tomioka as Gรถndul, and Mai Tรถdรถ as Geirรถlul. The anime will be directed by Kลichi Hatsumi, known for his work on Tokyo Revengers and Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown, at Yumeta Company and Maru Animation. Yasuyuki Mutรถ will serve as the main writer, while Yลko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima will handle character design. Yasuharu Takanashi will return to compose the music, and Saori Hayami will perform the ending theme song, “Last breath, Last record.”

Warner Bros. Japan describes the upcoming season as a continuation of the intense battles between gods and humans, with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance. The seventh battle, which aims to break the 3-3 tie between the gods and humans, promises to be a thrilling and action-packed event. Previous Seasons and Manga

The first season of Record of Ragnarok debuted on Netflix in June 2021, followed by the second season in January 2023. The second part of the second season was released in July 2023. The manga, which launched in Comic Zenon magazine in November 2017, has also spawned several spinoffs, including Record of Ragnarok Mystery – The Case Files of Jack the Ripper, The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxiang The Flying General, and Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Tale: Apocalypse of the Gods.

In addition to the anime, a battle role-playing smartphone game titled Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgment launched on March 31, offering fans another way to engage with the franchise.
