The sixth episode of the highly anticipated anime series “Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle” has been rescheduled from November 11 to December 2. This delay is due to unforeseen production challenges, as announced on the official website.
The series will continue with the seventh episode airing on December 7, followed by the eighth episode on December 16, the ninth episode on December 23, and the tenth episode on December 30. Further details about episodes 11 through 13 will be revealed at a later date.
During the hiatus, special programming for the “Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life” anime will air in the same timeslot.
The anime, based on the light novel series by Hiromu and raemz, premiered on October 7 on various channels, including AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, Fukui Broadcasting, TV Aichi, and BS11. The series is also being streamed by Crunchyroll as it airs.
Yลซji Tokuno is directing the series at feel., with Naruhisa Arakawa supervising and co-writing the scripts alongside the original author, Hiromu. Sumie Kinoshita is responsible for the character designs. The opening theme song, “Liar,” is performed by Kucci, while the ending theme song, “Kagerล” (Heat Haze), is performed by Cider Girl.
The story revolves around Chitose Saku, a student at Fujishi High School, known for his exceptional academic, athletic, and social skills. In his second year, he is tasked with encouraging a reclusive classmate to return to school, setting the stage for an emotional coming-of-age narrative set in Fukui prefecture.
The original light novel series debuted in June 2019, with the ninth and a half volume released on October 20. Yen Press is publishing the light novels and manga in North America, while Manga UP! Global offers the manga digitally in English. The manga adaptation, launched by Bobcat on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website in April 2020, concluded with its eighth volume on March 7.
