Exciting News for Anime Enthusiasts: Hell Mode Series Gets English-Subbed Trailer

Anime fans are in for a treat as HIDIVE has revealed that it will be streaming the upcoming television anime adaptation of the popular light novel series, “Hell Mode – The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing.” The series, penned by Hamuo and illustrated by Mo, is set to premiere in the winter of 2026.

HIDIVE will be showcasing the North American premiere of the first episode at this year’s Anime Frontier event in Fort Worth, TX, scheduled from December 12-14. The event promises to be a highlight for fans eager to get a sneak peek at this highly anticipated series. In the meantime, viewers can enjoy the newly released English-subtitled trailer:

The anime will make its debut on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS NTV in January 2026. The series boasts an impressive cast and crew, including Masato Tamagawa as the director, known for his work on “Saint Seiya: Saintia Shou” and “The Great Cleric.” Daishiro Tanimura will handle the series scripts, while Kei Tsushima will be responsible for character design. The music will be composed by a talented ensemble including Misaki Tsuchida, Moyu Kanazaki, Junko Nakajima, Kanade Sakuma, Reiko Abe, Kaho Sawada, BeauDamian, and Tsugumi Tanaka.

The opening theme song, “Haku,” will be performed by the band Atarayo, and the ending theme song, “Sanctuary,” will be sung by Kaya. The light novel series, along with its manga adaptation by Enji Tetta, is published in English by J-Novel Club. The story follows Kenichi Yamada, a dedicated gamer who finds himself reincarnated in another world after discovering a mysterious game. Without the conveniences of walkthroughs or online forums, Kenichi, now known as Allen, must navigate his new world and unlock the secrets of his Summoner class.

The original light novel series was launched on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2019 and is ongoing. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the series in print in July 2020. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Tetta, started its run on Comic Earth Star in October 2020 and continues to be published.
