This achievement marks a significant milestone, placing it as the sixth highest-grossing film of 2025 so far.

The film’s success extends beyond the United States, with notable earnings in various international markets. It has grossed US$324.6 million in Crunchyroll/Sony markets, adding US$10.2 million this past weekend alone. Specific regional earnings include US$17.4 million in Mexico, US$14.4 million in Germany, US$14.2 million in France, US$9.3 million in India, and US$8.9 million in the United Kingdom.

By September 22, the film had sold 67,020,204 tickets worldwide, generating 82,359,480,810 yen (approximately US$568 million). In the United States, it sold 8.91 million tickets, earning over US$100 million. In Japan, it sold 23,727,443 tickets for 34,186,470,400 yen (about US$236 million) after 67 days. As of October 5, the film has sold 24,266,753 tickets for 35,064,331,400 yen (about US$242 million) in Japan after 73 days.
This cinematic triumph is not only the highest-earning anime film of all time worldwide but also the highest-earning Japanese film globally. It is the first anime film to top the U.S. box office for two consecutive weekends and the highest-grossing anime film in the country, unadjusted for inflation. The film’s opening weekend was a monumental success, earning US$70,611,098. This achievement broke the record for the biggest opening weekend for an anime film in the U.S., both unadjusted and adjusted for inflation. The first Infinity Castle film was directed by Haruo Sotozaki at ufotable, which also handled the screenplay.
